Tynan’s contributed to the CSU Ram Good Time Auction’s success
Tynan’s Saab donated a brand new 9-7X Saab that was raffled off at the 27^th annual Ram Good Time Auction held Saturday

The 27^th annual Ram Good Time Auction, auction proceeds directly benefit the Ram Athletic Scholarship Fund, was a success.
Over 650 people attended the Ram Good Time Auction; the event raised an estimated $258,000 to benefit the CSU athletics.
“It was a blast. It was my second auction and I feel honored to be asked by the great people at CSU to emcee such an important event,” said Reed Saunders, account executive for CBS Outdoor. Saunders was the emcee for the Ram Good Time Auction.
Darell and Deon Hailey bought one of the 3,000 $10 raffle tickets sold before the auction and was the lucky couple that won the brand new 9-7X Saab.
“I thought I was being punked, I mean really who wins a car with one raffle ticket? When I got in the car I cried, I couldn’t believe it, the feeling was disbelief and wow,” Darell Hailey said.
Tynan’s has been a large supporter of Ram Athletics and the Ram Good Time Auction is said to be among the favorite events that Tynan’s supports.
“Tynan’s is just so proud to be a part of this event. It is a great way for Tynan’s to give back to the community that is so important to us,” Ed Tynan said.
Tynan’s has already agreed to donate a 2009 Saab Turbo X with cross wheel drive for the 2009 Ram Good Time auction.

Tynan’s is bringing the Saab Turbo X to Fort Collins

This April, Tynan’s Saab dealership is offering the brand new Turbo X. The Turbo X was inspired by the Saab 900 and has been given more power and more control.

“The new Turbo X is the best thing to happen to Saab in years - it's

the very first All Wheel Drive Saab - and it has a v6 engine,” says Ed Tynan.

The Turbo X along with the 9.3 Saab will be offering the newest technology in all wheel drive, known as Cross Wheel Drive (XWD). XWD optimizes traction control when accelerating from a still position or moving from side to side.

The integrated system that includes accelerometers, wheel speed sensors, yaw sensors, steering wheel angle sensors and throttle sensors XWD allows the car to know where the weight of the car is and the desired direction of the car. This maximizes control and speed during every acceleration and turn.

“The beauty of this system is that it does more than transfer torque from the front to the back,” said Steven Shannon, president and chief operating officer of Saab Automobile USA. “It transfers torque from side to side. And with Cross Wheel Drive, zero-to-sixty is going to be faster.”
